This Is My Story…
Family
In 2006 I met my one and only. 3 years later we got married in Santorini, Greece. We have been blessed with 4 amazing daughters who are full of curiosity, energy, humor, wits and so much blonde hair. The world needs more strong female leaders, and my charge is to help raise 4 of them with my wife (who sets an amazing example for them!) My family is my top priority.
Faith
My faith and belief structure are an integral part of my life. I strive to always walk in love, treating all with respect and finding the best in everyone. I also know that it’s not that easy for everyone (and at times it’s not easy for me). My pastor once said “just because I don’t believe like you believe, doesn’t mean we can’t be respectful and friendly with each other.” When I have been open about my faith, I have found it’s met with respect, curiosity and ultimately opens doors for me in one way or another. My church has taught me to live life by design and not from crisis to crisis.
Music
My #1 hobby is music. My love of music started at a young age, with piano lessons as a kid (ok, maybe I didn’t love the lessons, but it built a foundation). My parents raised us with a soundtrack of “oldies” from the Temptations and Four Tops to Phil Collins and Michael Bolton (don’t knock those velvet pipes!). In the 90s I found rock and my favorite band of all time, Pearl Jam, whom I’ve seen play live over 20 times (many of those with my amazing rock and roll wife!). I play and write music with my good friends in our band watson, currently in our 15th year together, and we are actively working on a new album. The best moments in life are always better with music.
